One Year Parts and Labor Warranty

The Computer Man, Inc. (“TCMI”) warrants to the original purchaser that the hardware products it manufactures will be free from defects in material and/or workmanship for one (1) year commencing on the date of invoice.

This warranty does not cover damage due to external causes, including accident, abuse, misuse, problems with electrical power, servicing not authorized by TCMI, usage not in accordance with product instructions, failure to perform required preventive maintenance, and problems caused by use of components, peripherals or software not supplied by TCMI. This warranty also excludes problems due to external devices such as printers and scanners, software and accessories or parts not installed by TCMI.

This warranty does not cover peripherals such as monitors, scanners and printers which carry a warranty directly from the manufacturer. If you do experience problems with these items, you may contact TCMI to transact repair/replacement of these items; however, let it be noted that we are not responsible nor in control of the length or policy of these warranties. If you have questions on these warranties, please speak to your sales representative.

During the warranty period as stated herein, The Computer Man will correct any defects in material or workmanship, or failure of the hardware system to conform to specifications, at no charge for in-house labor and materials. Any replacement parts/products shall be new or serviceably used, and are warranted for the remainder of the original warranty or thirty (30) days from the date of service, whichever is longer. The original purchaser must notify The Computer Man promptly if there is a defect in material or workmanship. Failure to do so, may result in further problems, which may not be covered under this warranty. This warranty is not transferable.

Please note that this is an in-house warranty. All fulfillment of the warranty will take place within our own technical department. Any defective hardware must be returned to TCMI in order to proceed with a proper warranty claim and any subsequent repair/replacement. On-site service is not a part of this warranty and will incur an extra hourly charge. If you feel this type of service is necessary, please speak to your sales representative about purchasing expanded warranty coverage.

The Computer Man makes no express warranties beyond those stated in this warranty statement. The Computer Man disclaims all other warranties, expressed or implied. The Computer Man’s responsibility for malfunctions and defects in hardware is limited to repair and replacement as set forth in this warranty statement.
